With Good Intentions

April is nearly over! I kept meaning to post something this month, but one thing led to another and... I did accomplish other things, I really did, I just didn't get to do as much as I had hoped... Time really does fly by and now here it is, almost the first of May!

So, here are some nature shots (taken on a walk with a friend a couple of weeks ago) we've had nicer weather lately and leaves have finally started to emerge since these photos were taken, so a return trip is called for... plus lots of changes have taken place around our cottage: the landlord removed the small stand of lovely 60-foot-tall "singing" pines in the back - I was utterly devastated - and now many of my perennials are finally starting to show themselves (lemon balm, catnip, comfrey, yarrow, chives, ground ivy, mint and mugwort) At last it's spring, with summer on its way!

May is usually a busy month for me (I'll be turning 60!) so I'll try to write more and post more pix in the weeks ahead - I hope things are good where you are and life is treating you well - TJ

I'm so tempted to put some sort of "fairy door" here...

Interesting Osprey platform. Seems somewhat low to the ground...

i think we were up on a rise and about 200 feet away - there are a couple more platforms in the area and they are all at least 15 feet high, i would guess, perhaps a little higher... all i know is that they keep coming back! :)

Don't beat yourself up so much - we all have grand intentions and we all do our best everyday. I think you accomplish amazing things all the time!

not really beating myself up... just thinking out loud and wishing i was able to manage my time better, since there are so many more things i'd like to accomplish - as i said, i did get some things done, so i don't think i was really too abusive! :)
